high level players farming lvl 8 strike getting legendarys
So im doing my exotic weapon bounty and ive gotta do 5 strikes without dying and the lvl 8 counts. There are TON of high level players farming this strike and getting legendary drops. ive done 3 so far and ive seen two legendary engrams drop for players. this really needs to be fixed, why should we even bother playing hardmode if we can just get endgame gear running lvl 8 strike....

10 RepliesReally? You're doing lvl 8 strikes for the bounty? You're a full blown pussy. I was doing level 22 strikes and still got it easily on my first try. Grow some balls.

Lol why are they even doing strikes at all if all they are doing is farming? Strikes are something i do when im not expecting anything but level 16 trash

LOOT IS COMPLETELY RANDOM - so you may have seen a couple of legendary engram drops is just pure luck and nothing more. I will bet you anything you want that if you play that same strike 10 more times, you wont see the same result.

The problem is the loot system itself. Bosses don't drop loot, just occasionally some items you can turn in for 200 glimmer (wowee), and engrams scale to your level so why fight tougher enemies for loot when you can just farm weak ones.

It's the same chance at drops no matter what lvl you run. I like the 24 runs as they reward more marks and I enjoy the challenge

i wonder how many times they ran it before getting that legendary... maybe they spent 10 hours for one engram point is you dont know and shouldnt care if you are a stat whore and want to run nightfalls hours on end without a legendary be my guest
