1. Fix the nonsenical loot system. Higher level enemies should have higher chance to drop better loot. Also, doing better in PvP should get YOU the loot, NOT the guy who is 0.35 KDR who was AFK for 5 minutes. Seriously, right now someone could leave their console on, set it to PvP, walk away, come back in 5 hours, and get legendaries. (rubber band on stick = avoid being kicked) Come on. Lastly, patch the RNG so that it factors in time played and level. Why does a level 21, with twenty hours played less than me and I'm 27, had 2 exotic bounties so far, and I have none? What kind of game rewards people on pure coin tosses instead of effort put in?
2. Change engram percentages. If the loot system isn't bad enough, once we get a legendary, we have to spin the wheel again and get blues. Why? Why do you want us to do three dice rolls? 1) get the engram hoping it's purple 2) decode it hoping it's purple 3) if it's purple hope it's for your class. Why ?
3. Mics in fireteams. Want to not hear people you get matched with for a strike? Use party chat.
4. *Force* in-game fireteam chat in PvP. I don't understand how from MW 1 and 2 and Halo 3, which did force game chat in PvP, we've went to now being unable to talk to our teammates AND allow party chat. No, force the game chat. Everyone needs to talk to each other. Don't like it? Don't play PvP. Or mute voices. Or don't use a mic. But don't use a mic *just with your friends*. I've developed so many friendships via halo 2 and 3 matchmaking; meeting people, getting along, getting it done, etc.
5. Add map skipping / vetoing to PvP. Again, Halo 3 had this. MW2 had this. Bungie and Activision, how is this not in the game??? Did you hear ANYONE complaining about it in MW2 or Halo 3? No.
Bonus 6th: add an option for auto dismantling green pickups. Seriously, by level 25, no one cares for them.

I feel like the servers need to be fixed more than anything. Worst net coding sense BF4. Also, beards, why r none?
-
Bungie doesn't care about its community. They only case about statistics like the money they're making and how many play their game. Instead of fixing server disconnects they're having players teach other players how to fix the problem so they don't have to and then they're recording and displaying total hours logged by players. They don't care what's wrong with their game or about US that's the bottom line.

I'll be honest. If this game is going to survive it will be absolutely mandatory for it to: 1-Massively increase the size of the existing maps and add additional locations. 2-Give players the ability to trade with one another. I mean, come on Bungie, surely to goodness you realize that every other RPG on Earth has that option. 3-Give us the option to name our Guardians and customize their height and body build. This is basic stuff here, get with the program. 4-Ability to customize firearms, such as barrel length, color, magazine size, fire rate, etc. This is a major disappointment for such a well polished game not to have such a basic feature. 5-Make side missions actually worth while by giving each one a story of it's own. I'll be honest here, the side missions of Destiny are the lamest of almost any RPG I've ever played and I've been playing them since Wasteland and the original Final Fantasy on up to Diablo 3. 6-Offer reward options at the end of each quest. For instance, give the player the option of choosing between a rare Encrypted Engram or Strange Coins for completing a mission. 7-Make every planet the freaking solar system available for play. It absolutely sucks that I'm stuck visiting the same locals over and over again. It's boring and greatly detracts from the fun of the game. 8-Give us Class Specific Weapons. For instance, the Titan could carry spiked gauntlets, the Hunter could obtain a short sword, and the Warlock could get Energy Gauntlets. 9-Vehicular weapons and combat on Sparrow and our Ships. 10-Raise level Cap to at least 50. No one likes to see there character level maxed after only 3 days of playing a game. It's boring, and makes the game seem generic. If Bungie were to do all of these things the game would thrive and stomp it's competition, but as it currently stands, it's just too dang short and repetitive in comparison every other RPG on the market. Honestly I feel like Bungie didn't really research the Genre enough while developing the game. Either that or they were just lazy, and I would hope that laziness is not the case.

none of your idea are good. the loot system is like that for a reason. so people who farm don't get all the good shit all quick. farming is perfectly fine to do, but it shouldn't be a guaranteed way to win everything. and for the moment I play on Xbox360 and the instant someone is in my fireteam, we are in chat provided they have a mic plugged in. and if not you can hear everyone in your fireteam. so this no communication issue must be a ps4 problem

this aswell

Fix the problem on the xbox one with the high pitched noise when in a party . Now I have no game or party chat.

Edited by jmbe444: 9/20/2014 3:25:16 PMHere's my two-cents: 1. Loot drops aren't really bad - ever played Diablo? Yikes. Talk about head-on-wall. 2. I'm more inlined to agree here - if the percentage drops for legendaries are lower then it should probably be guaranteed at least a leggy. If not then so be it, but to be honest ATM the only way to effectively farm ascendant materials outside of weekly and public and raids is to degrade engrams so it's set up in a way that makes sense, albeit a tad frustrating. 3. Okay for ps4 - ps3 can't do that (no clue about the xbox world) 4. Well it should be an option but not all people will agree on their preference. I personally don't need to here a thousand Tweens trying to talk crap. 5. Again I'm inclined to agree, though perhaps a compromise is every couple vetos you then lose that option and have to do the next random map. That way ppl don't just memorize one map etc and the game gets played. Vetos without this may lead to ppl only preferring to play a few maps and consequently detract from other's goal of expanding upon said maps.

1. Agreed 2. I would agree if it weren't for the fact that there's too much farming going on. Maybe after they fix the farming. 3-4. I would say yes but the cons outweigh the pros so no. 5. I half agree, the bad about this is that it's exploitable. 6. Totally.

For number 1, have you looked at that person's flags capped? I bet you didn't, because usually the guy that gets loot with a 0.35 k/d also capped like 15 flags. But I completely agree with number five. I am sick and tired of getting those -blam!-ing Mars maps over and over again. It is getting to the point that I am about ready to just say -blam!- PvP. Seriously, I play Blind Watch and then it is on to Firebase Delphi, and guess what is after that? BLIND WATCH!!! On a side note, what is up with the vehicle game mod? Not much vehicle, just an ordinary Deathmatch. And is First Light the only vehicle map? On another side note, how many different maps are there? I counted 8.

#1: Ability to skip cutscenes. You gave us different difficulties for story missions, but you're forcing us to watch the same intro/exit videos over and over again? Why?

You have my vote.
-
I completely agree with these five they should definitely be added/fixed
-
I also think you should add a PLAYER TO PLAYER TRADING SYSTEM OF SOME KIND. Seriously. Especially with the triple roll legendary engrams.
-
1. Yes for the first part. not to sure about the second bit 2. Yes! Bloody stupid how it works now 3. yeah 4. No!!! 5. No!!! I don't want teams picking their favs
-
I only like the bonus option. 1-5 would ruin the game for me.
-
I really don't wanna hear ppl on my pvp team, and I don't want them hearing me, I like the thing were during a pvp the only ppl I hear r my friends...
-
Agree with everything except map skipping
-
Edited by VALKYRIE: 9/19/2014 10:38:18 PMNo No Yes Yes No Bonus: meh. Dismantle doesn't take that long. Suppose it would be nice tho.
-
Well, drops are a bonus way to get loot. Earning marks and buying is guaranteed so non issue. Getting greens above lv 20 is worthless so an auto scrap would be nice. Chat, the option would be nice. How about matchmaking for the daily? I find it odd all strikes fill my fire team but daily wants one pre built. People forget you are not meant to be fully decked out ASAP. This game is on a 10 year plan ffs.
-
You'll get all this but first you gotta fork the money over.
-
Edited by LuigiTheMedic: 9/19/2014 9:34:25 PMNo to the first regarding PvP No to the second Yes to the third No to the fourth Yes to the fifth though I think it's unnecessary Yes to the sixth

Agreed with most of these
-
No map skipping, I agree with mostly everything.

Whilst i cannot comment much on the crucible aspects having only completed a few round i would aggree with the 1st 3 no questions asked.. people who use to play game like oblivion/skyrim love loot. and i love the idea of random items.. but if i get a legendary engram... I WANT A FRIKKIING LEGENDARY ITEM even if its a crap one. an engram shouldnt change class when it goes to the cryptarch.. The loot system needs to change. I would also like to ask that we can turn off cruicible bounties.. i am only being offerd 4 bounties at a time because i dont do the cruicible ones. be nice to turn these off so i can go into strikes with loads of bounties on the go.
-
I agree with point 1, 3, 4, and 5.. But I would like to add that 2 is a bit wonky.. I think they need to make it stick to that color and not deviate from that. As for the drops I don't have many problems with it.. I do think adding the raids to forced party is a good idea. Another point would be the mark cap.. It is very limiting and annoying when you have to stop for a week before you can continue to build on your character.
