Just Finished the Weekly Nightfall

So, there we were. We landed in the Cosmodrome and darted ahead on our Sparrows. When we reached the Darkness Zone, we hopped off and began clearing the first room. After a few well-placed sniper shots and one grenade, we had killed the enemy. However, the hard part lay ahead... We cleared out the Hive and Fallen easily, so I deployed my Ghost and joined my team on the scaffolding behind me and took cover behind the shipping crate, sniper rifle at the ready. When the first wave of enemies came in, my friend and I took out the snipers easily enough but we were so focused on them and our third friend was focused on the Vandals that we didn't notice the 5 grenades on our position. We wiped for our first-and last- time. We went through it all again just as we had before, but this time we made sure I was the counter-sniper and the other two we're taking out the Dreggs. When I saw the snipers, I aimed and One, Two, Three shots to one's head and he fell, same with the next. After the add-ones were gone, we waited for the Elder Shanks. After a few more deaths and enough Sun Singer grenades to destroy a Goliath Tank, we hadn't gotten very far. So I swapped to my Solar rockets and began raining the power of the Sun upon our enemies. The next few assaults were easily dealt with and the Fallen and Hive had fought it out so that only a few Fallen survived. We dispatched the smaller creatures but the Captains, especially Narksis, we're a troublesome few. After putting a few sniper rounds and rockets into Narksis, he decides to jump on the scaffolding with my Fireteam. We ran to new cover, but he had already taken out our Warlock and our Hunter was pinned by the other Captain. I was left alone, with no ammo. After painful waiting, I used a Special Ammo Synthesis and popped my sniper rifle out of cover. I aimed at the already weakened Narksis and shot twice, the first took out his shield and the next blew his head clean off. But the last Captain was left and I was one shot. I waited another long 5 minutes for my Heavy ammo, but there was an opening. I ran to my safest team mate and threw up my Ward of Dawn without the Captain even noticing. Then, together, we began a salvo of rockets and gunfire to take out the last Captain. After a short break, we cleared the enemies from the next room easily. This was followed by another short bathroom break. Now we came to the Noble Devil Walker. We dispatched the snipers and began shooting the tank's legs. It wasn't until we began taking damage that we noticed enemies had flanked our position. After I fell to them, my friends killed them and we moved to another building. Here we only had to worry about the tank's weapons but Ina few minutes time, we had killed it. Following that triumph, we cautiously cleared the rest of the area. Now, fatigued and shaky, we entered the House of Devils. As the doors opened, we darted into a small dark room and took positions there. Our Hunter had a weaker weapon so he covered the stairs behind my Titan self and our Warlock. From here we killed the add-ins and picked away at Sepiks slowly. We all died multiple times but after about 30 minutes of strong communications and sweat, we finally landed the last few shots into the High Servitor. I had never been so happy to hear that shriek. After we collected our loot- a Legendary Engram and a couple of Decoherents and a legendary Scout Rifle for me, an Exotic Helmet for the Hunter and a Legendary Assault Rifle for the Warlock- we headed to the Tower to flaunt our new Blue Flame-Covered heads. Check out my profile and the profiles of OmniRage13 and PROTOTYPE48 for the real proof.
