i loved the Sword of Crota, I really hope Bungie updates the game to let you have melee weapons like that permanently. There could be a whole quest where you claim the Sword of Crota and bring it back to the Speaker, who “purifies” it into a relic fit for Guardians to use (and maybe makes it a bit less overpowered against enemies), and will then have its own upgrade tree as an Exotic or Legendary weapon. Heck....i could see there being a quest in the future where the Hive’s king Crota returns to reclaim it from you and launches a massive assault on Earth.
