What do you think of destiny's ending?
I think the ending was alright, what do [b]YOU[/b] think?
[b]EDIT[/b]: lots of you are saying it isn't the ending. Well what did you think of the main story (not including explanations that are later to come)?

To be honest I was confused at first but then again it is the first of the series and answers will come later personally I thought the story was good the planets were beautiful and the action was great

I feel like it was the backbone to the game... Like "oh, you saved the universe, now what? Lets go check out that warmind, or the reef, or help the Exo stranger." It didn't feel like a complete story, but it was still fun, even though it looks like I'm the only one who enjoyed it.

I think the game should be called Destiny: Prologue. Not in a bad way, it definitely piqued my curiosity.

considering the focal point of destiny was never really story based, and that there is DLC announced already, i'd say it was a pretty -blam!-ing sweet way to end the first chapter of what is and will continue to be an epic game.

2 RepliesHopefully the next game they will explain a lot more. How about this. If there were cutscenes. Preferably the ability to skip them. Where it will change depending on your class and your guns. In a place where a horde of enemies come at you.

5 RepliesI personally liked the story. It pulled me in nicely. Not the best, but a good one. Got me curious and excited for future games. I want to learn more about the origins of everything. The Vex, who made them. That thing you fight in the Black Garden. The Traveler appears mechanical in construct through the under side. What is the traveler? A sentient being? A robot/computer of sorts? A floating hunk of metal with magic infused? I'm very curious. What about what happened at The Reef? Or the Stranger? Speaking of, there are several references of "different timelines." Are we going to see a merge of different stories side by side? Or perhaps play the game in different eras, with future installations? How did the different races come about? What exactly are the Awoken? The Exo? Or the Speaker, what is he? Why was he chosen of all? What does he look like under the mask? So many questions! Only time will answer them. So, TLDR; It was a decent story and ending. It got me quite curious to learn more of the lore and universe the game takes place in. I'll only (hopefully, if I do) get my answers by playing future games.

3 RepliesBeeing an ''MMO'' without a ending the campaign still should have explained a bit more. I'm not 100% sure what actually transpired in the campaign and don't want to wait till things become clearer with each DLC.

It's not over its an mmo and they already informed us that in December an update is coming out with new maps and other cool stuff.

That's not the end. Maybe for that story (which I consider the prologue), but I have a feeling we're gonna get a lot more soon.

Story was none existence. grimore doesn't count ya -blam!-s. Its has to be portrayed in game. That's the basic principle of each mmo styled gamed. YES I KNOW THE DAMN GAME ISN'T AN MMO. It felt too over hyped it felt like there was no -blam!-ing closure for chapter -blam!-ing one

9 RepliesNot sure if you guys realized, I thought it was pretty obvious, but that wasn't the "ending". It was the ending of the this part of the game but the DLC will add onto it. Clearly what we all played was nothing more than the intro to all the alien races.

4 RepliesThe ending was pretty anticlimactic. Not the worst I've seen, but it was pretty bad. Nothing was explained, like, at all. I still have no idea about any of the basic concepts of the story lol.
