CRUCIBLE IDEA - They could probably steal something from the next COD. I love the fact that before each match they show your team and their load outs. This should be done where they announce the Bravo/Alpha Teams. Having the ability to cycle through other players' items and loadouts would be great.
If not exactly like COD, they can do it during the loading screen where all the ships are flying together before each match.
Picture this - with all the ships flying together, having your cursor hover over other player ships reveals the character avatar (and their load out) of who you would be playing with. Not necessarily the whole avatar but at least from the torso up with a see through back ground of the space and ships behind it.
For a more clearer idea - If the ship was on the left side of your screen, hovering your cursor over the ship would reveal the character avatar (name, class, race and load out) on the right side of the screen and vice versa.
Knowing the map before hand would also help as I find myself adjusting my weapon loadout for every map.

The problem with viewing others loadouts is that you can change them at any second, during the match, while flying to the planet, etc. So either they would put a superficial viewer in that let's you see what people WERE using, or use up resources monitoring and updating peoples loadouts constantly, which could otherwise detract from gameplay, in particular on older consoles that they are likely squeezing all the juice from as is. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, just doesn't seem likely to happen. Plus there's something to be said for not knowing what your opponent has planned for you, like in other battle style games. The point is to put together your strategic loadout and test it, planning out counter defenses in advance and such, changing them up on the fly. If everything's laid out for you...I don't know, seems like a crutch that would push people to more generic/all-rounder offerings.

I understand the whole "be surprise by the enemy" idea. What I wanted to see is what my own teammates had. And more for just to see their armor/ aesthetic appearance more than anything else. If you have seen any videos about the multiplayer for the next COD you can see what I'm going for. Besides, I don't think there is any similar game where you see your opponents load out before the match.

I was mistaken, I thought you wanted to know about your opponents' setup. I haven't seen anything about the next cod, but seeing your 'mates gear makes a lot more sense.
