The hard drive on my X360 is about full and from what I've read online, Destiny is going to be over 40GB in size and I don't have that much room left. I was trying to find out if I pre-ordered the disc based version of the game, would I be able to get the digital download version if I get an X1 later this year? I'd like to take advantage of the pre-order bonuses that Gamestop is offering along with the free digital upgrade to X1 once I save up enough cash to get one closer to the holiday season. Anyone have any idea if it's possible?

Also the red sparrow is only exclusive until Jan 15th and the upgrades can be accessed through gameplay. You're not missing out if you miss the preorder, you'll just have to wait a few months for a "red" skin for your sparrow.

You're welcome to look at the website, but from what I read it seems clear that the offer is only for digital content :(
20 GB hard drive storage is required for Xbox 360 and 40 GB hard drive storage is required for Xbox One. Additional storage may be required for some updates and features. Storage requirements subject to change.
There is no digital upgrade for disc versions, only the DLC if you bought a LE or Ghost version.
