There's a lot that goes into protecting IPs, and it's not always awesome, but if they didn't protect the property it would be a precedent for someone who isn't so stand-up to do so.

I agree, but people like that kinda boosted bungies sales! Rooster teeth started the same I guess.

I understand that, but they still are obligated to protect their IP, lest someone does the same later, with less than amicable intent. The guys should have known better and gotten it cleared with Bungie first, or not sold them.
