With destiny less than two weeks away, i have been wondering if this game is gonna take a spot in my top 5. Im curious to see what your top 5 games are. This is not about story, multiplayer, content, or anything besides pure enjoyment in the game. Mine are fallout 3, gta 5, battlefield 3, modern warfare 2 :0, and star wars battlefront 2. These are the games i remember playing the most and having tons of fun with.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Duke Nukem 3d. Granted, the last Duke game was almost good enough to be considered awful, but Duke3d did more for FPS games than any other. As good as Doom was, it did very little to improve over Wolfenstien, other than to make FPSs popular. Duke gave us jumping, looking up and down, maps that you could relate to (towns, spacecraft, burger joints, etc.), destructible walls, moving platforms (not just up and down), unparalleled interactivity (even games today struggle to compete), and some pretty fantastic PvP action (made so much better with the holo-duke)!
