*Sniff* Good memories. Was my first Sega console ever and graduated HS back then as well and took a year off to work, buy my first car and decide what I wanted to about college. Ironic that 14 years later, im gonna be part of even more EPIC launch at midnight to pick up my GHOST edition for PS4.
I love being a gamer....

I had got one too! Power Stone, Sonic Adventure, MvC and that VM card. I loved it Resident Evil Code V. The system had online connection. It was before its time. I had just started high school too!! Me and most my friends went the Sega route.

Edited by abakai: 8/27/2014 12:57:12 PMI remember when commodore did this to Sega right outside their headquarters.
-
Is it bad I remember being excited for new games coming out for the Commodore 64?
-
Sega genesis had better games.
-
That sign for the original Pokemon....oh the nostalgia
-
I remember my very first floppy disk game. It was called Grand Monster Slam and came out in 1989... damn I'm old... lol
-
Hell, I remember loading in a cassette in to a Radio Shack TSR-80 to play Temple of Apshire (Google that). Later came Zork, ahh the joys of DOS based games. I was estatic when I got a Commador 64 and had Pool of Radiance on 5 1/4 inch floppies. Yes, I did play the original Pong too.

I love being a gamer too, man.
-
Man, lay off the light speed!!
-
A friend of mine was having a clear out where he worked and got me these.

Quote: "Ironically, 9/9 was also a very awesome launch date 15 years ago..." sorry, might be because i am German, but i fail to see the "irony" there - videogames have become such a huge part of our culture and there are just that few dates in a year to choose from for, jah - anything... .
-
That isn't ironic....
-
Ah, the days when gamestop wouldn't give you a nickel and a lollipop if you traded in something.
-
OMG!! CRAZI TAXI!!!! The REASON to buy the system!
-
Best fighting game. Period.
-
Aaaahhhh Skies of Arcadia...all these years and I still miss you!
-
Ready 2 Rumble was freaking epic on Dreamcast
-
Sega has some sweet sauce commercials as well. Remember, Dreamcast was always.... thinking
-
And I still got my Dreamcast (still working connection, sorta busted up I mean but it still good) Man I was like 9 back when they made that console xD
-
Jet Grind Radio was the shit! Code Veronica!
-
Oh man the Dreamcast I had Sega Gt, Quake III, Sega Bass Fishing, MDK 2, Zombies Revenge, House of the Dead and Sonic Adventure

How about you change the title of your post? Remove ironically, and use incidentally. You're broadcasting your ignorance of English, regardless of how many people you call son. Its like me saying, "Look everyone, I'm a senior citizen!" when in reality, I'm only 39. That is irony, though not very good. You're describing a coincidence, not irony.
-
Little did we know the Dreamcast would go on to be the most under-appreciated gaming console of all time.
-
That isn't what irony means, but that is a cool story.
