The problem is how ppl react to design choices by calling them flaws. Most of these choices are made because of the different style of game they are going for rather than a halo knock off
Split screen, it's just not an option. If Split screen was there how would the game know what the guest lvl or gear is? You would have to have 2 gold accounts on Xbox live or psn to play multiplayer features such as strikes or crucible. It's huge factors like those that made bungie choose SP only. But it's amazing how ppl think because they created halo they have to stick the same design choices,
Proximity chat. I don't think ppl even know what this is before they ask for it. It's chat in a variable distance. Which yes potentially can be huge is this type of setting, but voice chat has changed over the years, most people don't even use it. Destiny should have chat in strikes and crucible games, and I have no doubt they will add it in later.
OP, I agree that there are a lot of people trying to make destiny the game they want it to be, but the truth is most ppl on these forums have probably never played this kind of game before. It's basically an mmo using fps elements, and people think it's something like halo when it's probably the furthest thing from halo other than the fps genre.
See people are too wrapped up in hype, and bungie/Activision are feeding that hype. Destiny will be a good game and I think the series will last the 10 year deal and we will see more innovation in future games. But right now there is nothing we can do to change destiny or people's minds until people get a true feel of the full game Sept 9.

You just proved my point You didn't address what I said You tried to disprove my points I said that fanboys who defend Bungie at every turn are idiots You just proved my point by trying to defend Bungie

Lol because I said you were wrong?no,if you read my post I addressed how and why things like Split screen aren't feasible to tack into this style of game. And proximity chat is not voice chat, I was a dressing the differences and agreeing that voice should be added, and that proximity chat will probably never happen. You seem to be too ignorant to accept viable reasons to why some content or features are not present in the game. Does the game have flaws? Yes, are people going to get around those flaws? Yes will those problems be addressed in future games? Probably. Thing is your complaining about people complaining about the game. Which contradicts your whole OP
