Why is there a "console war"
People really need to get a grip on this so called "console war". Bungie is making a great game for BOTH consoles. There are the occasional TIMED exclusives. It's not like they only made the game for PS. Either way, there are exclusive games for both consoles so it goes both ways. Everyone needs to just grow up. I don't want there to be an XBOX community and than a PS community. I want it to be one big gaming community. Thank you.

Clutch, there is a console war because of the Three Stooges, Douche, Mama's Boy, and Dumb Ass. They all chose a different console that made them go their different way to get stupid, similar, and cry babies to follow them. but then there came us the ones that don't give a rats ass about which console id better or worse. :P

People always feel a need to debate that their choice is best....its not a console war but more of a choice war. All comes down to the need for confrontation..... Its in our nature....like competition and pubes.

I agree... I bought both... liked the one better sold the PS4. Most of the people waging this stupid war have never owned the other console. Both have their merits and faults. Just play what you like.

The console war has nothing to do with Destiny It is just an example of immature, childish individuals who need external validation of their choice in products. They seek this out through starting arguments and talking trash to those who chose the other console in order to have other people who made the same choice that they did stand up for them and their purchase.

Agreed. I have a PS4 and am waiting to see if Halo 5 will be worth the purchase of a One. By the sounds of it going back to being a true competitive arena shooter, it will be worth the purchase. People that have to justify their purchase of a piece of electrical equipment are losers.

There's this weird inclination within some people to automatically slam other things. These same people can't get a grip on the fact that different people have different preferences. There's nothing wrong with that. It's also interesting that many of these radical fanboys are more dedicated to a brand than gaming itself. That brand obsession is what fuels their never ending disdain for the other system. It's ridiculous.

Here is what I get out of a console war. PS4 has better specs. Xbox one has a better backer of it's network. It's a choice between reliability and security(Xbox) or a better graphics oriented machine(PS4). It's your choice lol.

There are a few morons on either side trying to start shit, and claiming there's a war, while the majority of the users don't give a rat's ass. People play the console that has the games they want to play, end of story, all arguments about specs and limited dlc exclusivity etc. is mindless drivel by people who feel the need to over-justify the choice they made in system.

Some poor souls can't afford both and feel the need to justify what they choose. So they go online and attempt to argue that one is better than the other overall which isn't true in either case it just makes them feel more assured about the money they spent. An unfortunate trait of humans is thinking that their individual opinion matters to anyone else.
