It is closer to Borderlands. 12 players per zone does not = a MMO(Massive Multiplayer Online) that is why Bungie calls it a SWS(Shared World Shooter).

a "shared world shooter" doesnt sound like the kind of game I think MMO since this game its soooooo particular to defiance and i believe that that is a MMO also

Defiance 100s per zone = MMO. Destiny 12 per zone = SWS Dont get me wrong i see where you are coming from but too many people think it is a MMO and get mad because it is only 12 per zone with no real chat system only 3 per group 6 per raid. MMOs i have played are most 4-6 per group 20+ per raid. It is just easier/safer to call it what Bungie wants it to be called(SWS) but i do agree it does have MMO elements. I use to play nothing but MMOs even met my wife in 1.
