Lol first Destiny would need an open world. It's wide paths but paths all the same. This isn't an open world. To my knowledge they never said it was. They may have said things to make you believe it might be, and that's why we mostly think game developers are a bunch of lying bastards. They aren't lying bastards, they are misleading bastards lol.

Edited by chromeplatedbagel: 8/24/2014 11:09:09 PMWe had no access to King's Watch in the beta, the Forgotten Shores and Skywatch both connected to 3 different locations, most people didn't even go through The Grottos, and Earth is supposedly the 2nd smallest world in the game. Try to think of it as the first Bioshock game; it's set up so you can rush through it in a few hours, or you can explore, find exotic items, new areas, or new bosses. It's bigger than Halo, but smaller than Borderlands. Also, there's a difference between sugar coating the truth to help sales of a product you've been working on since 2007, and being a lying bastard. Are you someone on the Internet who's voicing their opinion, or are you a worthless piece of shit whose parents never loved them, so they take it out on the people who are better than them, both morally and intellectually?

It just doesn't honesty look like that big of a game. They padded out the first few quest by making you cross through the same areas over and over so I m not expecting a long game. I'd be happy if they proved me wrong I just doubt it very much.

there were 4 areas locked and guarded by level 11-20 enemy's in the beta (large areas)

First of all: thank you for not flipping shit like 99% of the people on the Internet would. Second of all: Just don't expect Tamriel. It's not gonna be as big as a Bethesda game, but that doesn't mean it won't be big. It's not gonna be as big as Skyrim, but it'll probably run better.
