rare spawns in missions/explore mode
I haven't seen anything about rare spawns in destiny but I feel like it would be a great addition. I think everyone can agree that they would enjoy killing an elite captain or whatever with an increased chance of loot drops

It happened about the same time of day (apparently midnight at bungie HQ's timezone) where hordes of enemies, captains and ultras included all spawn and fight an all-out war. Because of the increased enemy spawns there was more loot dropped, if this is similar to what you meant?

Ive encountered what those guys are talking about under me, along with a rare "Band of Pikes" event where a bunch of pike riding dregs attack you and you can take their pikes its awesome

I've seen em and got attacked by scout dreggs on pykes and then killed them and stole their rides
