Im for trading as long as its 1 for 1 and what i mean by that
exotic can be traded for an exotic
uncommon can be traded for an uncommon
but a uncommon [b]cannot[/b] be traded for an exotic
so you still must earn your loot but you can spread gear amongst your friends who have also earn their loot depending who will put it to best use like swapping your legendary pistol you have no plan on using for your friends legendary auto rifle you desperately want
if this restriction isnt present then [b]Hell No[/b] to trades

Will be abused. There will be a junk exotic that everyone gets a bunch of from special events, or an NPC that sells a similar junk exotic that becomes the butt of all "20$ paypall + [Junk Item] for my [Whatever valuable exotic]"

aye good point =/ they would need to find a way so only equally valuable stuff could be traded between 1 another to try and eliminate this market but friends could trade stuff to optimize their play style but like you said people will always find ways to abuse em if at all possible =/
