More players doesn't necessarily mean a better experience. The map has to be scaled to the amount of players, so more players on a bigger map means you'll still encounter around the same concentration as less players on a smaller map.

As I stated previously in another response it could be just a couple specific maps. 3-4 maybe. Not every map would work.
