I think swords in Destiny would be exceptionally boss...but if swords are going to be put in the game they need to have the same revered nature as they did in Halo...i.e. they need to be treated as heavy weapons... If swords are put in destiny they should be a heavy weapon...their "ammo" would be similar to halo in that they require a plasma charge or theyre otherwise rendered useless and therefore would require heavy ammunition ,probably 10 swings(that make contact with a target), before running out of charge, that way theyre not overused as a secondary...I feel they could easily balance a sword into gameplay same as they did with halo... But remember...a beta isn't representative of the overall content in the game...the Halo 3 Beta prolly didnt even have a third of the weapons as there were in the final version...therefore there may still be a plethora of weapon types yet to be seen awaiting us in destiny...swords included...^-^
