What jerk would not want there to be MM? If you don't like it, you don't have to use it. There's a lot of us who would like to have it.

This is more than just about the option being present. It's about the repercussions of it being present. This has been said over and over again.
-
I have yet to hear a good reason why it shouldn't be there.
-
They're worried that it'll get the Raid nerfed. I don't think that Bungie will operate the same way as MMO developers, so I don't think these fears are well-founded.
-
I don't see why it would need to be nerfed just because you have the option to play with strangers. You can communicate and strategize the same way with strangers as you can with friends, unless your shy or something. In that case, you could find friends to play with, but that doesn't mean that MM shouldn't be there.

It's not the option of being able to use MM that will nerf it. It's the repercussions that come from MM that will get it nerfed. Rather than deal with all the complaints from it being too hard cause too many people jumped in with randoms and then eventually be forced to nerf it, Bungie figured, to deal with the problem at the source, MM. If MM isn't included, people don't complain, the raid doesn't get nerfed and then the game is played they way it was intended. How isn't this a good reason?
-
I still don't understand how people would complain about it with MM but not without. That doesn't make sense.

Because you don't have the same experience that some people have had with raid MM. It comes down too those who have seen the repracussions and those who haven't. The only way you will understand is to see it for yourself but I would hate to see the same mistake in destiny.
