you're speaking for all 4.6 million + that played the beta. no offense but it's easier than you think. just because you find it difficult doesn't mean the community does. again, think objectively. no one seems to want to do that.

Most of the commenters have been against the idea, but if you check the poll 71% are in favor of my idea with only 13% don't like my idea. Think about what is easier. Pressing the D-pad twice, or getting out a smart phone as you mentioned in the other thread (not everyone even has one) and typing out a written message? Or worse, having to type out the message on your controller after going through menus? D-pad communication is simpler and as the poll shows it is popular.
