Your logic doesn't add up, matchmaking would make Raids more difficult because you are playing with randoms in a gametype that requires great teamwork and trust. You will have to coordinate, picking the right weapons, supers and so on, a team with only titans for example would probably get destroyed. Raids with MM would probably be next to impossible to finish.

 • Your logic doesn't add up, the difficulty of the content shouldn't be based on the groups ability to work together.

 •
Your logic doesn't add up, the difficulty of the content shouldn't be based on the groups ability to work together.
Except that's how raids are designed. So basically you're asking Bungie to just remove raids altogether.

 • They're designed to challenge an organized group. Not a random group, hence then not having match making.

 • Directly from Luke Smith on NeoGaf:
I understand everyone's frustration about the decision to not have matchmaking in a post-matchmaking world. I also understand the limitations that this places on the activity's adoption at scale. That barrier to entry - the requirement that you get a group of people together and venture into something that is going to challenge your ability to work together (first) and your thumbs (second) - is a barrier I was willing to erect to preserve the activity goals. Bleeding edge hardcore groups will invest some significant amount of time in figuring out the encounters and making their way through the Vault.
• Yes, and that would cause people to cry for nerfs, which in turn would cause the raid to be nerfed. It's a vicious cycle that always happens when matchmaking is involved in a game like this.

 • Would you want to at least have a chance? But I see your point.
