Not shocking of course. But it is a shame since I loved dual wielding in Halo 2, 3. Frankie confirmed during the Q&A at Comicon in San Diego that there are "no plans" for dual wielding in Halo 5.

awwww

Dual wielding requires increased movement speed to close distance before firing. Excluding sprint, Halo 2 had the quickest movement speed; it was the only game in where it made sense to have.

No plans yet. That means it still could happen. They even said that themselfs that anything is still possible. Stop saying it is cut already because there is still a chance it ight actualy be in. Maybe not for MP, but maybe for the campaign.

Dual Wielding just means that they create Nerf'd weapons that have no use on their own.

Good choice.

Eh, that sucks. It was cool at times, I don't much mind it that it won't make an appearance really.
