Over the years I have dwelled my mind over the perfect poll, and so I thought to myself: "What is it that I truly love in life?", and the concluding answer was without a doubt...

I can kind of understand this stuff seeing most fps are played by guys and how some guys react when they see a girl in a game. I'd prefer to treat them as the average person i'd come along in a lobby. If they were an ally i'd support them, if they were an enemy I would shoot them. I see girls who play video games as just that, girls who play video games. I see all gamers the same way.

Tbh, I'm not really a huge fan of many girls who game, might just be my personal experiences and others may have been in company of different types of girls but whenever I've met someone online who's also a girl they're always really bitchy to me and seem pretty rude :') and when there's a group of guys with a girl, the girl always ends up acting as though they're 'trying to impress' in some way! It's probably just me that thinks this, anyway, I'm sure there are many lovely girl gamers, I just need to find them! Haha

3 RepliesDon't really give a shit about equality in this way. Personally a girl who plays games is great. But that won't make me any more attracted to her. All that does is allow us something common to talk/play. NOW i HATE those attention whore girls who are on FPS games and go "OMFG I DIED NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and are on streams like "OMG i'm a girl gamer TEHE." That shit annoys the -blam!- out of me. And you know who make that happen? The MALES who give them this attention "OMFG A GIRL WHO GAMES SO HOT MUST WATCH."

Back in the day there were hardly NO girl gamers. Growing up in the arcades the girls there played the fruit machines (slots) whilst the boys played air hockey or video games. Very rarely would you see a girl playing video games. When I was 14 I was lucky enough to date a girl who liked games. What did we do on our first date? Spend £20 playing Double Dragon (best first date I ever went on until I met my missus). Dating a gamer girl back then was rare and fun. Nowadays girls are coming into their own when it comes to gaming. Playing them, blogging about them, cosplaying and all sorts. Girl gamers are awesome. I just wish there were more of them when I was young.

Jesus guys it's the year 2014 why are some still surprised OMG that's a girl gamer?!! Let me try doing better jus to impress her x) I mean seriously it's gotten to the point that if someone Is actually better than me in a video game she's probably a girl you know how many try hard girl only clans there are in COD? Way more than I've wanted to meet and I'm not one for comparing games but IMO destiny feels like a hybrid between COD as far as gun play and borderlands as far as the "pursuit of loot with your buddy's" so it's no surprise that girls play this game too. Besides FYI there's magic in this game so of course they're interested(yeah I went there) B).

Jesus.. You want to know what I feel about those who flaunt about being a 'Girl-Gamer'? It's not that I hate them. I just hate the fact that their presence often proves to be disruptive given the fact that males pining for female attention will in many instances genuflect to them unthinkingly and in doing so abandon all fealty to other males regardless of any hierarchies or bonds that may exist. I hate the fact that they can apparently so easily garner attention and accolades that their actual performance in gaming does not warrant, again most often as a result of aforementioned thirsty males. I hate the fact that condemnation of either of the above phenomenon somehow qualifies me as a misogynist when in reality both of those things are just outright annoying and cancerous to gaming on the whole. I also hate that some of them have persecution complexes despite the fact that by and large they will often be treated better than their male gaming counterparts, most usually due to the fact that a lot of men have actually brought in to the idea of their amazing victimhood and as such attempt to compensate through bowing down incessantly to any woman who handles a video game controller. I hate all that -blam!-ing shit. I hate it because it has nothing to do with VIDEO GAMES. But girls just playing games is alright. Just my thoughts.

18 Repliesin my personal experience the beautiful girls who game are usually horrible and are only their to get attention from guys, the girls that are actually good at games are more often then not seen as men to me since they dont actually look like girls, and the beautiful girls who are good at gaming, dont actually exist :)
