I know I'm bumping an old post but the iPhone 4 don't show 3D models my speculation is that due to an A4 chip (severely outdated) but the ipod 4th gen is even worse with a A4 chip and 214 MB of RAM (iPhone 4 has 512 MB of RAM) which is not enough, apparently you require 512 MB of RAM and a A5 chip to display 3D models either that or it's just because it's a bug but the error only hapens to outdated phone (for example a droid max or razer)
