No, I feel like trading would just make players' gear less unique. Everyone would just try to trade for whatever weapon/armor is considered to be the best at the time. Plus, I really doubt Bungie's going to implement trading when they've specifically said they want each piece of good gear you get to be tied to a specific event (completing a strike/mission/whatever). I think trading wouldn't mesh with Destiny's style.
