As least the legendary and exotic items should transfer. Reputation would be nice too.

I don't agree. You're very welcome to give me a solid reason as to why it should.

Because the people that worked hard to earn their reputation, marks and stuff, should be allowed to keep what they earned. The legendary items I have came from the cryptarch and I can almost buy one with a few more marks. I don't have an exotic but there have been a few posts with videos on them, and it would be kinda mean for them to receive one of the rarest items in the game, only to have them taken away. Besides, everyone can play the Beta now so everyone can get a head start or boost to why must the people that put time in testing this be wiped? It is a controlled Beta so the level doesn't matter only our rep and rare items do. That is what sets us apart and what we should have, especially the people with exotics.

You said it yourself. BETA. TESTING. If you choose to put time into a BETA TEST, that's on you. That's completely your choice. A beta test is NOT intended as a way to farm loot to keep in retail version. I'm not trying to be mean, but that's a dumb reason.

Bungie stated that they were treating the Beta as a full product release sense the beginning, source Destiny youtubers. And why must you make everyone lose their hard work when you can just scratch your character and start fresh in the final game? There are three slots to choose from. And you can't even farm legendaries or exotics anyway so that doesn't even make sense. They are earned through marks or luck. And for the record I never even stated "BETA.TESTING." There is no harm in having them transfer and the people that don't want to transfer can just start a new character, it is simple and easy to fix.
