I am kind of disappointed by the game so far my main impression is that the game feels too much arcade , frenetic and with a confusing story.
But what most disappoints me its the arcade feel due to the way combat is handled.
The impossibility to rise from ground the enemy weapons , the semy fantasy autoregenerating weapons , the enemies disappearing in a cloud of dust , the numbers popping up when you hit them , its all too much arcade and much different from halo realism.
And yes I prefer how the combat was handled in halo because you had limited sources of weapons, the enemies where well characterized and not confusingly placed together everywhere to have something to shoot at without a defined reason .... And the thing that each companion gets different revenues on killing enemies or ending levels.... Its just too much Arcade really ....

But this is destiny not halo if you want to play halo go and play it the developers made the game that they wanted to make, if people don't like it don't play it. Destiny did not meet my expectations of it but this is my problem, they were my expectations not bungies. I don't understand why people feel angry that the game wasn't made the way they wanted it to be. It's not their game it is bungies, play it or don't P.s. Why do so many people spend so much time on a forum for a game they don't like?

Some ppl exploit using shields and overshields and its just stressing frenetic and unrewarding ecperience . I expected something similar or better than halo , instead they did the same crsp Of COD.

Take the disc out and put another one in:-P;-) I'm not saying the game is perfect, it's not even close, I just don't understand all the hostility, if you don't like it stop playing it and forget about it. I don't see the need to berate bungie and players who do like the game, (not aimed at you personally) just get on with your life and leave destiny. I do understand that people are disappointed, I was devastated at the release of ffxiii which to me was nothing like a ff game but I didn't think that people who did like it were were wrong to do so. It's horses for courses man, and as I have said before, play it or don't just don't try to convince people that they are wrong because they do like it (also not directed at you)

Imho they should fix the mp like Halo . This is too messy frenetic and quick , u have no time to do anything .

Well considering I am neither..... Honestly the hostility people have towards this game is ridiculous I really appreciate what bungie has done. Are there some things that need to be fixed? Sure, but to say that all this hard work they put into this game was just for little kids and idiots is a tad harsh and just flat out rude. Constructive criticism is what this section of the forums should be not bitching non sense. If you really dislike it so much, uninstall. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the upcoming patches to see how they will fix some mechanics and expand upon the story.
