I find myself sometimes not picking up weapons and armour that are dropped because i mistake them for ammo drops I do not currently need. Can you please make uncommon and higher drops more noticeable when I am running throughout the world of destiny.
Edit: I am not a huge fan of being mailed greens or higher as it ruins the excitement of getting a rare drop from a trash mob. Also I would like to pick up white items as they may be a higher level than my current gear and provide better stats.

I thought the difference was already obvious, loot is a big, brightly glowing ball vs a small dull glowing box of ammo. But it wouldn't bother me either way.

Edited by Teknikz: 9/23/2014 4:49:38 AMWhy? You get it anyway. After arriving at the tower the post dude will have it. I don't even bother picking most stuff up anymore.

If you can't see the difference between a small box and a large sphere than you should get your eyes checked.

Any missed loot goes to the mail place

Agreed when people camp an area there's a lot of crap laying around, the ones I hate most are the light orbs FireTeams leave after using a power, from a distance they look like drops. You can hear a noise when close to a drop but you have to be right on top of it to hear it. Same with end of mission timers, sometimes they run out before you can check everything, not sure if you get missing drops if that happens though. I was in the area before the array end mission last night which campers seem to like, me included, and running around trying to find ammo I picked up 4 drops I didn't realise where there. LOL.

society today has zero situational awareness may it be in the game of life or in leisure activities. we need bells an whistle for everything including on how to take a shit. it's a sad state when people can't even explore and take things in.

That concept is mostly for the unfortunate that allow their loot to roll off a cliff...you'll be the one crying when that exotic you just got from a Raid falls....be glad of the mail system

*reads title only* no you just need to pay attention

Anything not white will be waiting for you at the tower when you get back.

+1 even if you were able to hit your objective button ("back" on 360) to scan.

Agreed.

Completely agree

My only problem was when it drops in water. Particularly on the spider tank mission.

Like a little pillar of light emitted by them? Similar to Diablo 3?
-
I had no problem with these. They shine in bright white, green, blue, purple, and orange. How can you possible not see them? Does there need to be flashing lights and a big sign over each loot drop that say "over here stupid" ?
-
Wait. All missed loot goes to post master. Didn't know that. I have no complaints.
-
Yea they should make them bigger and brighter with a better colour.
-
Dropped loot should make an annoying loud noise haha.
-
Bungie needs to add vertical beams of light like in Diablo. It makes drops way more exciting :).
-
Yes loot needs to be way more noticeable .
-
Yes this x 1000
-
If it is uncommon or higher the postmaster will grab it for you, right?

someone mentioned in an earlier post the possibility of a beam of light coming up from items and engrams with the color to match the rarity and the ammo remaining how they are to both make items/engrams more easily found and distinguish items/engrams from ammo
