I don't see why people complain that you can only talk to your fire team. I'd much rather that than the lobby be like COD with 12 year olds screaming and people playing music through the mics. Just my thoughts on the matter

You can mute people, easy. Why wouldn't you be able to talk to people? It's multiplayer.

He just told you why. He doesn't want to hear 12 year old kids yelling about a bunch of nothing while ignoring their mother's call to come eat dinner. You can play with people without having to have a chat with them.

If you're so concerned about being social go do something with your friends in real life. I don't play video games to be social and neither do a ton of others

I've never played a game without chat. It's awful that it's like this and you know it. I want teamwork and communication. This game has nothing like that without chat.

I hope you find a good clan and/or those who talk. Those who don't communicate most times lack social skills both on and offline. We live in 2014 not 1980, whereas there is more than one avenue of socializing besides outside. Sad some are still stuck in the 1980s mindset as going outside is the only way to meet others. I think it's great. Add people to your fire team if that's what you want. I've heard party chat works better (I've actually never done the fire team chat, just party chat so I don't know).
