I think the items being traded must be the same rarity and level.

While that may be a good way to control op trades. I don't think someone is going to trade a legendary gun for some other crappy gun unless it is a friend. Destiny is supposed to be about working together so why not help a friend? Sure they got a powerful gun but you had that same gun and just gave him ownership. He couldn't use it if he didn't meet the level requirements so I don't think matching levels should matter. I am still pro trade.

Yeah. I would love trade but bungie has said that they want everyone to have their own loot so that people want to explore and grind for the rare guns so that their would be a sense of accomplishment. I personally would like to see a trading system but if they don't (which they most likely won't) I don't mind.

Even if you received a great weapon, don't you think you would still grind a little to find a better one? There is a point where grinding just becomes an excuse to waste time on something that may never happen. They could add a trading fee that cost you glimmer in order to trade meaning there is still work involved.

That would be a good idea.

yea restriction by level and the higher the rarity of the weapon higher the amount you will need to trade it for but no insane price.
