I thought the whole purpose of a BETA was kind of TO "complain". Otherwise it would just be a retail release right?

No it's for bungie to make sure that there are no major glitches or exploits and that the servers hold up. If there are any problems with that then they need feedback. Wait at least for the full game to start complaining about gameplay elements
