That's how I feel about iron banner rewards. Why should the guy who comes in last have as much a chance of getting loot than a guy who comes in first and dominates.
Its the whole everyone gets a trophy for trying bull. You should be rewarded for being good at something. Not for just participating.

This is not how a RNG loot system or a reputation system with reputation marks system works. You aren't guaranteed a thing. You have the chance to get gear as a drop. What quality of that gear is up to RNGebus when it does drop. With the rep system, you play your PvP/PvE events/matches, grind your rep and [i]buy your gear.[/i] It's like large portions of people coming into Destiny have never played an MMO before; let alone one with a rep system or loot pools that are % to drop or RNG based drops.

Yeah, and people who do bad should be punished with less fun...in a game...that's sole purpose is having fun. Yeah!

I think you're just being hardcore. It's a video game. Randomness occurs.

Shouldn't be complete randomness. I'm not saying it should 1st place you gets it everytime. They should just have a slight better odds of getting it.

1st place does get rewarded with more crucible points, which in turn ups your rank and allows you to acquire the actual legendary crucible gear.

I get you. I'm guessing that there will be different events and people will have different opportunities for different things.
