Lol this game can't be an mmo if you can't trade items you gathered with you friend you lameass duck! Shut up.

from reading loads of comments and the players who never tried or played a mmorpg for more than 20 minutes sense i played wow since burning crusade and have a fine knowledge on how trading system should work the 2 highest ranking color of weapons and armor, lets start with weapons the rare and legendary legendary is permitated bounded no trade at all but can still dismantle and used for crafting etc and rare item will have a time on it for how long within fire squad or raid team or dungeon group you can trade it within the group and below rare you can trade with whatever or whoever u like but there be level restriction for abt 2 level above and lets say a person is lvl 5 and not 2nd or 3rd character and the weapon is above lvl 5 for 15 levels what make lv20 so the system won't approve of the trade same deal goes with auction house and any message with the same item in so the person can either hold on or get rid of it, and if the person who was on a lvl 5 has a lv18 and it set up so you can accept items what 2 lvl above your own and so you attain it through that then put it in your own bank chase closed. now onto armor if they're going to be auction house there should be set up like this 1 tab weapon 2nd tab titan armor 3rd warlock 4th hunter and the 3 armor tabs only the class titan can access the titan can access titan and warlock can access warlock and hunter can access hunter but everyone can access weapons and on the armor buying or trading same baseline restriction applies there 2 level above your own nothing higher can be bought by a lvl 5 only up to lv7 equipment. if i am missing out any thing fellow mmorpg natives players please leave a comment below.

Yes, please dont add trading because Destiny might actually function like an MMO should. "Home of the Guardians, the Tower is a third person social hub where you can regroup, rearm, and form new alliances before venturing beyond the safety of the City’s walls." And by social hub they mean a place where you can dance with other people but can't communicate with them in any way possible.

I think it'd be cool if you could trade with someone who was in your fireteam when you found the loot. Not in any other circumstance though.

I think it would be a great idea. However., like the vault, your player can use a weapon if it's your level. To combat "cheapening" the experience, the gun cannot be traded for a gun 2 levels higher or lower, and cannot be an exotic or vanguard weapon/armor. That would fix it IMO. It would come in handy, say you get an AR and your friend the SR and you both wanted the other's weapon, it would be fantastic

Trading would make the game cheap people are going to give legendaries and make work less for each other I love borderlands 2 but I admit I got a lot of legendaries from trading with others

so you want to get rid of a feature from the game that we all want because you want to jizz in your pants for a gun gtfo u loser

Trading is a necessity. If you don't believe in powerful greens, then don't trade yourself. If you don't want that special moment ruined, then you don't have to trade. For the people that do, though it should be there.

Trading could work, but it would have to be very complicated. Let's say that you and your friend are both level 20 (max level) and want to trade. You are able to use any piece if equipment (character specific) at that point in the game. Bungee has said that at that level you just begin to obtain better gear to do harder strike missions. But, say that you've spent only 100 hours and your typical armor piece find has about 100 defense whereas your friend has spent 300 hours and typical armor piece find for him has about 300 defense. Now he can give that directly to you and save you that 200 hours of grinding away on strike missions. This is a problem and they would definitely have to look into a solution or else this would totally ruin the game.

I agree that trading should not be introduced as well. I don't think it would be a bad thing on cosmetic items or things with no great monitory value but even then its meh. You start to get chinese farmers and they tend to ruin online games fun. I don't wanna have to be saying oh darn I shouldn't have traded that when I could have bought 5 of them for a dollar, or 1 for 200 dollars. Its pretty stupid. Now another trading possibility would be to allow 1 trade per week.

you know what, I expected it to be added and was pretty indifferent about it. however after reading a few of these comments perhaps your onto something. That said, it can be annoying when your looking for a particular gun class, and it drops for you friend at the same time a gun of the class he/she is looking for drops for you. What if they added say, a 5 or 10 min trade option? Would stop a lot of the paticular issues many are concerned about.

I think there should be trading for people who want it and for people who dont like that idea can just not trade and going on there mary little way its a win win situation. P.S a ton of people out there want trading.
