There's so many ways to kill them/the driver
-snipe the driver
-flank and shoot the completely exposed driver
-use a super
-use rocket
-use a heavy machine gun
-use a turret
-use your own interceptor
-use grenades
edit: it's official that the interceptor is getting tweaked. You can stop whining now

Heh I always like when people use their experience with bad players and talk head about how easy things are. Find a good player in an interceptor and your list is useless. Can't flank a good player, they keep their distance. Which also eliminates the grenade and super. So now you're down to just sniping them, which by the way, you're only going to get if they don't see you. Great list there to use against people that just downloaded the game. But I think you're gonna have a much tougher time pulling that off against someone that has figured the interceptor out.

Don't forget there are sticky grenades that one of subclasses unlock, me thinks that will shut down all the vehicle hate once people actually can use that.

All work except grenades, if it's moving nades are useless.

Edited by Aik: 7/24/2014 1:30:44 AMI find that grenades don't work for me, is there a spot I should be aiming for? All the other methods work good though

Interceptors are pretty op.
-
They should at least make it to where you can't capture while your on the dang thing.
-
They should spawn with heavy ammo or around the same time as supers start popping.

You cant dodge a ball

make him ram you into a clift
if you can't stop an interceptor
Become an interceptor
or a transgender
Use an Arc Damage Fusion Rifle.
-
If you can't stop an interceptor... Your gonna have a bad time..
-
lol dude these only work on noobs the usable ones vs skilled players are surprising them with rocket or super
-
Turrets kill them so fast.
-
It's not that there that hard to take out specially with team work, it's the part that I always seem to run in to the -blam!-ers unexpectedly lol. They don't make loud enough sounds to hear them coming :(.

Edited by AdunSaveMe: 7/24/2014 3:26:16 AMAlso, pikes. Seriously, learn how to use pikes. They are beastly. It takes a little bit to whittle them down with the guns on it, but if you can go toe to toe with an interceptor and survive just by side-boosting, it's one of the most satisfying things you can do in the Crucible. Interceptors are slow. Pikes are not.
-
I've been at both ends. It's fair. Just don't get caught wandering by yourself when that comes a hummin'
-
Lol getting headshots from campers in inceptors
-
The damage and amount of rockets is fine. Boost distance needs to be reduced though. You could just about cover half the map or more with one boost and it's faster than the pike.

The only time I get killed by any vehicle is if I'm just running in the open and it catches me. Any other time I'm either only in the open for a few seconds getting to another flag or I have my super/rocket ready for them. Now that I think about it, the last time I got killed by the interceptor (or the pike) was while I was in a vehicle myself and just lost that gunfight.
-
exactly. Now people, stop whining. Interceptor is a pretty balanced vehicle and it doesn't actually have a lot of escape. Kind of clumsy and easy to kill.
-
My average K/D is around 2. If I get in an Interceptor it's around 10. That to me sounds OP. A common response on here is "get good", here's the thing. I've been 'dealt' by an Interceptor once (well 2 Interceptors at once and an entire enemy team in vehicles), i've given out with it numerous times (it's stupid not to take advantage of it). The AVERAGE player on the game simply cannot deal with it, and thus in the interest of fairness i'd like it toned down. Only yesterday I went 20 for 1, with 19 kills in an interceptor. My only death was because someone finally managed to hit me with a super... 8 minutes into the game.

I personally think you should be able to jump on it like in halo with those vehicles

sounds like they're getting nerfd
