Pls no to all the above, specially a mini-map or a better waypoint system. this is a game, not some "quickly get to max lvl and have tons of stuff to do" game the game is to get lost and explore, a fire team should stay together, if you are playing with pugs, then drop em and find new guys, use a mic perhaps and let ppl know yourself where you are or where you are going. the loot system is very good and very well done, it gives you what you need at that lvl, sure it may not be an upgrade but thats why doing strikes and beacon missions are great for farming, the goal is after all to keep you in the game. streamlining a game to accommodate to ppl who have a hard time, is not fun, nor is it making the game easier. a game should have a learning curve, like how learning to shoot the devil walker in the legs takes it down quicker or in pvp by playing the objective. its not like the game is super fast paced, you need a character name/info R3 and inspect, why do you need to see their inventory? ask them what they have. the game is fine how it is now, the SP is tough on hard mode, the stikes when under lvled or under geared are hard, and they are pretty long, and the pvp has a nice learning curve, the loot system is balanced and interactions should be from one player to another through voice or msg and not through a character emotes

  • completely agree, only thing that needs change is enemy spawning in free roam. Its too frequent, in the same exact spot and exact same squads. Unless you run into one of those random super shweet epic battles between seemingly never ending high level hive and fallen...such wow those events are :)

  • actually i dont mind it, with everybody on the beta doing the same beacon quests it makes it easier to be able to finish them, plus the full game will have more areas, so staying in one area farming wont be an issue as you'll want to move around, the other thing is that the high spawn rate will always give you something to shoot, never leaving you wander an empty world to get bored in

  • That's a good point, but the enemies should at least patrol their area more and they should chase you farther out of their spawn area.

It would leave the solo player nowhere to go seek cover when his shields get depleted. They already spawn often enough and so close together in some locations that you sometimes take fire from both the group you're fighting and the respawned group you'd just killed if you're not careful.
