Gun range in the tower?
Hi Bungie!
While perusing this amazing game and collecting tons of good loot and decrypting engrams at the warlock dude in the tower, I realized a problem. The new weapons that I get from him or the gunsmith seem pretty bad ass, and I would love to try them out without having to go explore or try out a mission. It would be pretty cool if there was like a gun range close by with infinite ammo, or not, so that all of the guardians can try out their guns before they go out and try to save the universe from the Darkness.
I'm sure that other people would probably appreciate that as I see the lack of a gun range or whatever being problematic in the future, especially when paired with load times, and going back and forth between levels and the tower JUST to try out a gun.
Anyways...this game is amazing and thanks for doing what you do!

Sounds like a good idea. Using the gun in the Explore mode works just fine right now. Would be cool not to have to go through a loading screen just to try a gun out. It would have to be instance based though the tower is filled a lot of the times an you don't want 16 people all at the same fire range at one time that would get crazy. Even though would be a good idea i would more then likely go to Explore mostly because the AI wouldn't just stand there an let me shoot them i have to really adapt to how they move an dodge. Unlike in a fire range i just shoot stand still targets. Yes they could add a AI system where the targets move an everything but it still wont be as good as trying it out in the Field. You have to take in the range fact too weapons lose damage the farther they are away they would have to make the range the max distance they think you could shoot with still having good accuracy. Its a lot of work even though it seems like a small thing, but if your going to do it you make sure you do it right.
