I enjoyed your synopsis but was wondering if anyone knew if I could take my rewards from the ps3 to the ps4?

this i CAN answer.. it was stated in one of the online articles from deej at E3 that the game being all data stored server side.. WILL have your character and all thier earned goodies.. transferable between both sony systems... and between both microsoft systems.. but CANNOT be transfered cross platforms.

That's a big relief because I was playing the beta on ps3 but I am getting a ps4 specifically for this game. Thank you for your reply and I'll see you in the crucible fellow guardian!
