4 RepliesFrom a lot of treads Ive been reading it seems like bad players got the good stuff? Yes I believe this was a stress test and giving bad players good rewards kept them in the lobbie! Anyways I'm happy, I don't want a gun and gear I can't use lol was so happy with my iron banner cloak do!!!

I got two legendary revolvers and unless I can somehow Akimbo them I'm scrappin' those bastards on the 26th ^^ In other news, the iron banner might simply have borrowed the desire detector from monster hunter, damn you Stygian Skymerald, damn you to hell!

I played 4 rounds 3 wins 1 loss got 1 lvl 20 epic hand cannon. My buddy went 5 and 0 but got nothing. I'm guessing there was a kill count or maybe certian pvp medal or medals to earn.

But this little kid got the legendary variant of the Galahad-B (which is the highest damage assault rifle in the beta) And through all 3 matches he was getting owned and started to cry, moan, and blame my team for not "Protecting him" I only let this one and the ones to come slip by due to this being a Beta. Hopefully, the full game will fix this problematic problem. One more thing... Why am I being paired with little kids? Come one it's like torture weekend for me. Haven't found a good fire team since day one. But what really grinds my gears is the fact that these little gremlins are lvl 8 and they suck to magnitudes beyond my comprehension. BUT.... The moment when my senses went FUBAR was when the the little kid dismantled the legendary weapon... I heard him through the mic talking trash about the weapon and not being able to use it. I thought he was trolling but I heard the sound when you dismantle a weapon which is like a double click followed by a metal sound... I lost hope for change. Now as soon as I heard a screeching voice of a little kid, I am abandoning the battle. I going to desert them all for good. I prefer the penalty than going through the whole mission with those abominations.

1 ReplyI love that each time you play is a "roll" for a chance of getting gear. If legendary items were guaranteed for every player, they would no longer feel special or unique. Try to look at it from that perspective. It is going to feel far more rewarding when you eventually DO get that legendary weapon :)

They never said that they would reward in the beta maybe they will reward you in the real game so you don't loose it when the beta is over. Like a collectible cape or armor. Everyone needs to calm down we are only on the beta. I would rather get a reward on September 9 so I don't loose it. Holy shit people chill stop bitching congrats on your KDR now shut the -blam!- up.

Whatever, at least Bungie is trying to give playlists and events for PVP players to reward them with recognition.

5 RepliesMost of you are idiots. Bungie has this event open only 2 hours at a time to stress the servers with a ton of players logged in playing at a specific time. They had to have some sort of incentive.. or else you wouldn't necessarily be on playing at that time. Truth.

Edited by Krisander 1998: 7/20/2014 11:01:43 PM1: to get your items in Iron Banner you had to meet Saladin in The Tower to get your rewards 2: the trick is to have an space left in your inventory and then you get your legendary weapon, have full on special and heavy weapons and one space left on primary weapons and you get an legendary primary weapon the same trick helps with other things 3: you will not keep anything you get in the beta anyway so why complain? you loose everything after the beta exept for the special emblem you will get on 26 July.

(Highly recommend buying that auto rifle that's on sale right now. .) But I only got a legendary hand cannon. (Lvl 20) the match I leveled my rep.

And there's something a little hypocritical about that post, but I think that ^^ needed to be said... So thank your lucky stars it ONLY took pre-ordering the game to get you BETA access, and quit complaining about items, cause although you might look cool at level 8 during BETA, when the full game is released its going to take less than a few hours, for all your "best" gear to become obsolete and all those hours spent grinding... Well... Pretty damn wasted!!! Bunch of children if you ask me, enjoy the game while you still can... Bungie is doing a grate job, and for one I'm happy I am taking part in this early release BETA!! Thank you Bungie!!
