This is a small annoyance, but still something I'd love to see changed: Currently when a mission is finished, you automatically return to orbit. If you want to return to the tower (to identify an item you just got, for example), you have to click "Select Destination", choose The Tower, and then select "Depart" or whatever it says. That's 3 buttons click, and then a second loading screen to sit through.
It would be FANTASTIC to include an option on the mission summary screen to return directly to The Tower rather than have to go through the orbit UI every time.
I've been finding myself returning to The Tower nearly every time I finish a mission, so this would be really nice to see and super convenient.

This. Definitely this.
-
Yea I thought the same. It should launch by default after selecting your destination, not go back then have to click launch seemed odd to me.
-
Yep, a general "To Tower" shortcut would be awesome. Much time wasted otherwise.
-
Yes please.
-
I think this is a good idea, but I think they could take it a step further and be able to go directly back to the battlefield from the tower rather than needing to go to and from so very often.
-
Man I would love that. Someone commented that there should be able to shortcut to the crucible after a mission too. That would be great but to the tower at least would be awesome. Great suggestion.
-
YES HELL YES! Less loadscreens.
-
/sign x1000 If The Tower is truly the only HUB for us then this will make life so much easier.
-
This is a great idea. I'd just prefer it if we could bring up the Director anywhere and not be forced to go back to orbit. I mean, I love seeing my ship and all, but we see it in loading screens. The orbit is supposed to be a lobby, but the Tower serves that purpose just fine.
-
Agreed. This would be awesome especially loading screen for the tower is strangely long.
-
Agreed.
-
Totally agree!
-
That will be great
-
Agreed
-
-
YESS!
-
This would be an amazing idea
-
-
Good idea!
-
Yes I'm with you on that idea. I also they shorten down the load times too.
-
-
Great idea.

+1 but make it dynamic. If the tower is in earth press circle for tower. Then later in the game say on mars there is a new city called the "sphere". So your last mission was mars the button becomes circle for the city sphere. Vice versa depending on last mission done.
