Companion App doesn't have my data says "This account has not played Destiny"

It says "You need to create a character in Destiny" which I have done of course. I deleted and reinstalled the app. I refreshed it. I tried Update Databases. Nothing works. Is this because I have codes for Xbox One and PS4 and the app is only seeing the Xbox One code? Update: I have also found that when I click on my name inside the app it says "This account has not played Destiny"

  • I am having the same issue. I have both PS3 and Xbox One linked with beta codes from separate pre-orders. I only linked the PS3 code last night, had no problems with that, the download, or the fantastic game I have been playing. Played a bit this morning as well, probably about 6 hours total between the two sessions. No show on the Companion App, says I have not played Destiny.
