I can't stand those bars. Bars every where , I rather have NUMBERS.

Id like to see number. Example : attack 127:500. As the 127 represents the guns current attack and 500 is game max.

Rpm is a bar which kills my inner nerd but besides that it's cool.

I must admit, I would like to see numbers. The bars ARE useful, but having numbers overlaid on the bars, or right after them, would be very useful. The bars seem like a nice move towards a graphical attempt at showing configuration, but the cost of this is too high (sacrificing accuracy of detail). Bars and numbers togeter would solve this.

Well I kinda like the bars to show me exactly how much impact, range, or other stats I am losing or gaining with the changes to my weapon without doing any math. Because honestly -blam!- math.
-
1 ReplyI totally agree with you. I prefer actual numbers rather than the bars.
-
numbers = precise analysis of current weapons or armour bars = ehh screw it close enough
-
Bars or numbers. You can do side by side comparison with what's equipped and what your curious about.
-
Agreed
-
I love numbers more too
-
I like the bars.
-
Agreed. Numbers are better than bars
-
I think if you have the app it uses numbers as well
-
Numbers > We are not children! Plus bars are harder to compare when it comes down to the small differences.
-
I agree and would like to see both.
-
We should all complain about this during the beta so maybe they'll change it.
-
Yeah, I agree numbers are nice for accuracy's sake. But bars make it easier to read when scrolling through. Personally, I think it'd be best if EVERY stat had a bar, with a number beside it.
-
2 RepliesThe bars are easier to compare on the first look. But yes, I prefer detailed numbers for closer comparisons as well.

Use the poll Luke, ya... thats a good boy. Dance for O'B's wand. I would also need to see accurate stats for weapons, wtf is this Borderlands?: Lets hide all sorts of fking important numbers for comparing. Bars with stats next to them, and fire rate needs to show the firing time per shot.

I prefer numbers also. They are accurate and easy to compare.
-
1 ReplyI have never seen accurate bars in-game for any weapon system. Always gotta wiki for accurate numbers.
-
3 RepliesWhat's the difference?
-
Bars work for some stats, like stability, but stats like Fire Rate and Reload speed - basically anything with a tangible numerical value in-game - needs to be a numbered stat.
-
11 RepliesAlright then. Your gun has a stability of 105. What does that even mean?
I do feel it would be nice if we had a way of looking at a detailed breakdown of specific stats and values and such, but bars are better then numbers for the general overview because it's easy to compare weapons to one another and get an idea of where the weapon is at compared to min / max values and such.
There are a few things where Bars > Numbers, such as Range and Stability since those are more arbitrary numbers for the common player. However, everything else seems to be easier to compare in number format. Not really a fan of shooters that allow weapon comparing but limit the actual data being displayed. The most important data for me are magazine size, rate of fire, and damage (Still unsure as to how Attack and Impact actually work). Though knowing when damage starts to dropoff at range would be helpful.
