• Pretty amazing. Dat choir indeed. Feelsies. Didn't feel the pivotal Dany scene, mind. Some -blam!-ers spoiled the Tyrion/Tywin scene for me, so that was a little anticlimactic. I preferred the scene with Shae, though I think the former will be increasingly satisfying when I watch it more. Dat Brienne/Hound fight was -blam!-ing brutal. I didn't want either character to lose, since I love them both. Such is Thrones. Oh, and I think Stannis's Wildling Watch would be an awesome team to face the Walkers. Finally, Arya sailing off to Bravos was a beautiful, bittersweet end to my first series watching with everyone (series 1-3 was last summer, after series 3 aired).

  • I think they messed up Tyrion's character in an attempt to still make him the good guy.

  • My friend says that it was impossible for Briene to win that fight because she was a woman and she wouldn't be able to take the punches. That it's impossible for a women to be freakishly big and moderately strong.

    • I'm kinda of sick of Emilia Clark's acting now and she doesn't show anything so her storyline is getting beyond -blam!-ing annoying besides what it already is. As for the episode in particular, I can't wait for the next season now.

            • The books make the show pretty "meh" honestly.

              • They -blam!-ed up Stannis saving the Night's Watch. In the books, he had 10,000 men and managed to defeat 100,000 because he's such a talented battle commander. It was Stannis' moment of triumph in the books, made me fall in love with the character. "He reminded me of my duty, when all I could think of was my right. I was trying to win the throne to save the kingdom, when I should have been saving the kingdom to win the throne." The Night's Watch is on it's last legs, the wildlings are about to win and it looks hopeless until a horn blows and out of nowhere knights come charging on all sides; one kills a giant with a single thrust of his lance, and the horses sweep through the wildlings totally annihilating any chance they had of success. You're reading it like 'what, what's happening?' Then the men start chanting "Stannis! Stannis! STANNIS!" and I got chills reading it. Best moment in the books. In the show, it looked like 500 knights massacred about 75 wildlings while they were still eating breakfast. Biggest disappointment of the show so far for me, I'm totally gutted.

                • The Stannis part disappointed me. I thought there were supposed to be 100,000 wildlings and there were nowhere near that many there. I also was kind of disappointed the Tyrion scenes weren't like they were in the books since it made it feel like it came out of nowhere rather than something Tyrion decided to do since his father screwed up his whole life.

                • Was a little upset that they didn't show
Lady Stoneheart
and I thought
Tywin's death
could have been handled better. Lena Headey absolutely killed the Tywin/Cersei scene. I was blown away by both actors. I also didn't like how the show skipped the part about Tysha.
Shae's death
left me with mixed feelings. I wasn't sure if I liked it or hated it. Maisie Williams just keeps getting hotter and hotter, IMO. She's always been bangable, but now she's all of my want. I love it how they made
Petyr hint to Tywin's death on the chamber pot. Remember, from a few episodes ago, when he was talking to Robin about death.
Overall, it was okay. I also agree with Wolver's post about Stannis' scenes being screwed over.

The only good scene was the Brienne/Sandor fight. Not enough Stannis. They ruined his moment of glory. And they keep trying to portray him as an "evil" character. Tyrion's scene was underwhelming. Not a good way to end the season since the last two episodes were the GOAT.
