Does the Hunter have to use a hand cannon for "Golden Gun"?

So you can use Golden Gun on any class of weapon? Even sniper or rocket launcher?

Regardless of what is equipped. when u toggle the hunter's super "Golden Gun" You will summon the golden hand cannon, and use the traveler's light to deliver a golden death beam to your enemies. This is very painful in Competitive Multiplayer.

Nope. When u toggle your hunter as a special he pulls it from the air in a blast of light and delivers death to other guardians. For reals.

That's been confirmed that you do not need the hand cannon for the Golden Gun
