What exactly is a LAN party.
Well is LAN actualy like live or something or do you have to all play in one house with a million tv's.

I go to cybercafes to play in Natural-Selection and occasionally Counter-Strike LAN parties. PC gamers have been holding and attending LAN parties for years, ever since classic shareware DOOM came out. To say that LAN parties are only for Halo is blasphemy for anyone who uses a computer, and since you used a computer to type your posts, you better not say that. *shifty eyes* ex) best LAN I ever attended was the one where 1337_c|2u1s3|2 got pissed after his Counter-Strike team sucked too hard and threw the keyboard at someone's head.

local area network party.=LAN party. It is where a cable is connected between multiple boxes and then you can play other people that are in the area. Glad I could help.

everyone hooks up a bunch of xboxs through a hub/router or whatever and they get nuts like a party

Its when you connect up to four different xboxes together on seperate tvs and can have 16 player multiplayer matches.
