It's diagonally. Also:
>1ms response time
>144Hz
>DisplayPort

DisplayPort master race

If I connect to this monitor with display port, can I use a VGA/dvi cable to connect to my other monitors directly from the Asus? Or does it still need to go directly to my PC?
-
Sure.
-
??? What?
-
I think I may have completely misread that. You would need the cables to go to your computer.
-
So then what's the benefit of DisplayPort when I can just use DVI and get 144Hz?
-
I'd have to check the differences. I don't really know, I just like it.
-
Well, based off the research I've just done (briefly), HDMI and DP are about the same, except DP is more computer based.
-
I can't wait for DP 1.2a and 1.3
-
Just looked that up. So, is it just copying what's on another desktop? Or am I just an idiot?
-
What do you mean?
-
you mentioned DP 1.2a and 1.3 Based on the article I just read, it's just duplicated what's on one screen and pasting it onto another.
-
What did you read?
-
I skimmed it, but this: http://www.anandtech.com/show/8008/vesa-adds-adaptivesync-to-displayport-12a-standard-variable-refresh-monitors-move-forward
-
That article is about AMDs variable frame rate technology.
-
Yeah, me being an idiot again it is. Care to explain what it is we were supposed to be talking about?
-
Connectors. But whatever you use will be fine, so good luck with your build.
