• I mean, I'm pretty familiar with Tea Party rhetoric, behaviour etc, but it was still kind of surprising to see that sort of material posted on an official facebook page.

 • I'm very familiar with the tea party and the Republican party in general, and really, ever since 2008, it's been nothing but "Obama is bad" and "He did this!" or "He needs to be impeached!". From 2000 to 2008, the Democratic party wasn't this immature about Bush Jr. being president. Were there days where they bashed Bush? Sure. It'd be impossible and naive to say that they never did. However, the Republican Party as a whole has been basically bashing on Obama since Day 1. Originally in high school, I was what many would consider a Republican. However, ever since 2008, I've become much more center than anything else since I can't stand how much shit is flung around by the Republican Party. The same can go with the Democratic Party, but I agree more on their social issues and some of the environmental issues. The Republican Party, I haven't really seen terms to their platform in many of the issues. The only thing I could possibly think of that I might have in common with the Republican ideology is much more recently when the Tea Party decided to fund solar power. However, I'm seeing a much more greedy side of it when it comes to the Tea Party. They probably don't care about solar power, but solar power is a great moneymaker, and I'm sure that they caught up with that trend.
