I don't get all the hype
Why do you guys bust out fapping and having an orgasm when you think of destiny? It isn't anything new. Borderlands have a shit ton of guns. Character customization is in TES,fallout,and many others. The shrike can be easily compared to a Ghost from Halo. So why say it's something new? Please #destiny,give me a reason on how Destiny is unique.

If you break any game down into its individual components, most, if not all, will have been done before by someone else. But that doesn't make the composite whole any less new. Destiny is a new game. There's no other FPS, where I can level up and get loot in a persistent, open world, with seamless matchmaking and space magic. That's what people are exited about. Not the pieces, the whole.

Well for one thing, it's all of those aspects in one game. It also just seems so cool with all the co op and customizable stuff.

We haven't had a Bungie game in 4 years. That is why Bungie fans are excited for Destiny. The fact that it looks awesome is merely a bonus.
