Even Estonia has more college graduates than Britain.........kekekekekek So no, the average American is not dumb. I've talked with far more ignorant Europeans But intelligence is a very subjective term. The smartest person on Earth may be looked as the dumbest person if a highly advanced alien species were to make contact with us. Even what is consider to be intelligent in 3rd world countries is not intelligent with 1st world countries

In my personal experience, no. I've met a lot of Americans online and they seem to be pretty smart individuals, though to be fair if a person was stupid enough I doubt I'd talk to them anyway.

The average person is exponentially more intelligent than somebody from an earlier generation. The average person is still pretty -blam!-ing stupid, though.

7 RepliesI assume that pretty much everyone who currently exists, and everyone who has previously existed is stupid. Myself included. It makes the whole arbitrary and totally meaningless act of judging intelligence muuuuuuch easier.

A -blam!-ing bag of hammers is smarter than the average American. Why do you think we keep voting in the same muppets for either Big Biz or Special Interest Group #487? Because they promised they are going to be different and promised the moon? I saw a grown man break down and start pitching a screaming hissy fit because he was getting charged CRV on a case of water. He claimed he was a vendor, and that he knew what he was talking about, and that it's illegal to charge for CRV on bottles, you can only charge it on cans. CRV has been applied to all plastic, glass, and aluminum single or small serving bottles since I was 12. I say 12 because that's the earliest memory I have of me and my father recycling said plastic, glass and aluminum at a recycling center.
