Mobile App Privacy Bug (as requested by Spawn)

Title: Mobile App Group Post Privacy Reset Bug Description: Link to original post. Essentially, anytime I make a post to my group's forum (Ethereal Knights), it is automatically set to Private, and will not show up in the forums (the Latest page of #Destiny, for example). I am sometimes asked if I would like the post to be Public, and I always select 'Public', but then it is still not visible. Since the App does not have a way of checking/changing post's privacy I opened my browser, and sure enough it was defaulted to private. Also, whenever I go back to edit any of the posts in my group's forum via the App, it changes that posts privacy settings to Private/Members Only again. The only way to fix this issue is to sign in to Bungie.net via my browser (Safari App, IPhone), and uncheck the box, although this is a huge hassle. Sometimes I need to uncheck the box multiple times for it to register, and for the post to become visible again on the forums. Upon initial group creation I was asked if I would like my group's posts to be Public by default; I chose yes, and tried to solidify my choice on Bungie.net, but apparently that hasn't/isn't working. Reproduction Steps: 1.)I make a post to my group's forum/ edit pre-existing post via the Bungie Mobile App. 2.)Post is now not visible, except in the group forums themselves. 3.)Open Safari. Sign in to Bungie.net via Microsoft account. Uncheck members only box. Refresh page. Wait a moment. 4.)Reopen Bungie Mobile app. Post is now visible in the 'Recents' page of whatever # it is in (Gaming, Destiny, etc.) 5.) Edit post (Add new URL, link to screenshots I posted on Twitter, etc. 6.) Post is now not visible anymore. Go back to step one. Result: Post is now visible, but if the original post is edited it becomes a Private thread again. Expected Result: Post made/ edited with no issues, privacy settings not changed upon creation or after editing the post. (Even a single letter or space added causes the problem.) Notes: With the release of the teasers via Twitter today I was editing one of my posts quite a bit today, and had to log back in to Bungie.net roughly 30 times to deal with this issue. (It automatically signs me out of the Safari app if it is closed, if I lose internet connection, or if I am inactive for a few minutes, which is understandable) Make: Apple Model: IPhone 4S Operation System: IOS 7.1.1 Are you using WIFI?: Yes, but also 3G Carrier and data rate: Telus, 3G Device memory/memory available: I believe 16GB, could be 32. Roughly 1.2GB remaining. Version of the app: 3.0.1 Build: 1042 Edit: I've all but given up editing my news thread due to this issue. Another problem: You CAN NOT zoom in on the Bungie.bet webpage via IPhone, which sucks because the afore mentioned box I need to uncheck is about the size of a grain of sand. Tweeted a picture of the tiny button. http://t.co/B6yJEnEvz2 ____________________________________
I would also be nice to have a 'delete thread' option, although this is more of a personal problem, and not a bug. http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post?id=64617112 Another good idea, this one about the janky notification system regarding replies to comments: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post?id=64617594&path=1
Edit: This is still happening, even after the major overhaul to the companion app and Bungie.net. It's not a big problem, but it's incredibly frustrating. If I see a spelling mistake in my post I fix it right away; often forgetting about this issue, which leads to the post being hidden.
