Hello Seventh Column, As many of you may well be aware, our beloved Marty O'Donnell is no longer employeed at Bungie Studios. The news of his sudden departure has shocked many, and has caused one of the biggest up upheavals in Bungie.net history. The controversy has left many questioning Bungie's motives and practices. The focus of The Marty Party is simple: we support Marty O'Donnell in any endeavor that is to come in his career. Whether it be getting rehired at Bungie, starting his own Studio, or joining another developer, Marty needs us. There are many ways to show you support: 1.) Change your Bungie.net avatar to the picture of Marty O'Donnell. 2.) Use #Marty2104 and #MartyMovement on Bungie.net, Facebook, and Twitter. The more people who use it, the more attention will be brought to our cause. While the things that are listed above are positive actions that can be taken to help support Marty, there are also some things that all members of the Seventh Column should avoid: 1.) Do not bash Bungie for their decision to terminate Marty. The truth of the matter is that not a single one of us know the details, and all assumptions we have are just that - assumptions. 2.) Do not spam the forums. We want to stay organized, and stay postive. if we start acting out of line, neither Bungie, nor Marty will take us seriously.
